Railway and transport complex
Railway and transportation system In March 1974, with the directive from the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Zhambyl Industrial Railway Transport Enterprise (ZIRTE) was created utilizing the transport shops of the Zhambyl chemical plants to handle cargo transportation for the chemical plants located in the Zhambyl region.
On September 30, 1992, the Zhambyl enterprise for industrial railway transport underwent privatization and formed an open joint-stock company known as Promtrans.
On October 1st, 1997, the enterprise underwent transformation and became a branch of Kazphosphor OJSC - Khimtrans.
Between July 1st, 1998 and December 31st, 2000, it operated as the Railway-transport complex under Texuna Chemicals Inc LLP.
Established in 2022, Railway and Transport Complex Kazphosphate LLP (RTCK) is a subsidiary company.
The main activities are:
- providing access track services;
- transporting goods along the access roads of Kazphosphate LLP;
- offering specialized mechanization equipment for loading and unloading;
- wagon feeding/unloading services.
The total length of railway tracks is approximately 229.6 km. The complex includes 26 TEM and 2TE10 locomotives.
In total, the car fleet consists of 885 units.
Today, RTCK is a modern transportation organization, where most labor-intensive processes are mechanized and automated, with a robust machinery capacity and a stable, capable team.
